“I’m Ashten Bush, and I’m a 15 year-old road racer!”

“Before road-racing, I was a BMX racer. I competed at a national level for 2 years, 2022 being my last, but also my most successful. July of 2022, at a practice night on my home track, I hit the dirt pretty hard, putting me in the hospital for a few days with a stage-4 laceration to my liver and a few bruised ribs. I was sidelined for a couple months, and I was contemplating quitting the sport all together. I decided that quitting wasn’t going to be the end of my BMX story. I made a strong recovery and comeback, securing 2nd place overall in AZ state, and 3rd at the USA BMX Grand Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma.”
